Islamabad (Web Desk): Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday said that the biggest act of charity a person can do is to plant a tree.
Addressing the launching ceremony of the biggest Tree Plantation Campaign in the country on Tiger Force Day, the premier said Pakistan is among the top ten countries most adversely affected by climate change.
"It is our collective responsibility to try our best to make Pakistan a green country for the future of our children. These 3.5 million trees are only the beginning; this will be a constant effort," said the premier.
PM Khan also congratulated Tiger Force, civil society and the members of Parliament for planting record 3.5 million trees in a day across the country. He said Pakistan is among the most affected countries of climate change.
The Prime Minister stressed to work consistently to tackle climate change issue.
